skydiverkaz 0 #1 March 17, 2001 Of all the skydivers that hang out here, are there many from the UK? I just wondered.
skreamer 1 #2 March 17, 2001 Well, kazI am South African (been living in London for 5 years). I did AFF in South Africa, made 12 jumps in California and next month am hoping to go skydiving in Germany. So, yes I am a skydiver and yes I do live in London, but I have yet to make a jump in this country. Quite funny really because I am about to renew my BPA membership... /s

skreamer 1 #7 March 18, 2001 I don't know how you guys do it... I am on 33 jumps (21 in South Africa and 12 in the States). Between the weather here, the cattle disease and the BPA, I don't think I will ever be skydiving in the UK! I'm hoping to go skydiving in Germany next month and then hopefully back to Skydance for their boogie. Maybe I can get a license somewhere abroad.../sPS for the record I am a member of the BPA until end March and have been in contact with them. I have even offered to scan my logbook and mail it to them. How did you guys get your A license in this country???
BenW 0 #8 March 19, 2001 Simple,Do a CAT8 dive (half series) for a BPA instructor and hey presto - you've got yourself an A license!B.
