Michele 1 #1 November 18, 2001 If you're awake, and want to see a glorious Nature show, go outside and watch the skies. The Leonid Meteor showers are cresting tonight, in the early morning hours. NASA has been reporting that earthgrazers (bolides) have been seen as often as 8 per 15 seconds. It should peak about 2-3 a.m. your local time. It is especially wonderful this year, but I won't bore you with why (lots of space history detail stuff). Look up to Orion or to the Pegasus Square, and just watch.....it is truly amazing. PalmettoTiger 1 #2 November 18, 2001 I saw some really spectacular meteors when I was out from 1-2, and they were coming more often as I headed in. Great show.

nimbus 0 #5 November 18, 2001 I got up (after having a dream about seeing the Leonids!) and saw two - yes, only two! (I live 10 minutes from Melbourne so too much light).... then the clouds rolled in and stayed until dawn :-(.... but the two I saw were magnificent - huge and bright and with wide, long tails.
