The eagle has landed (and taken off)

I took my Zodiac for it's first flight tonight.
Some minor instrument issues (no reliable airspeed, altimeter, vertical speed) made the flight kind of short. Just once around the pattern. It was still fun.
After 5.5 years of building, it was a fulfilling experience.

I might be in Rome on Friday, but I have a student testing for his licsense this Saturday. If I get to jump at all on Saturday, it might be at Skydive ATL, just because I have two students down there on Saturday.
The cool thing is that Rome is in my test area, so I can legally fly my zodiac up there to go jumping!

I was gaining some major ground on a Cessna 172 on downwind. He was abeam the numbers when I turned and I had to slow down and extend my downwind to not run over his slow airplane.
Now I just need to locate the static system problem.

Worked great for me! Thanks for the pics. Very nice lookin airplane. You should have seen the purple one that was in Thomaston a few weeks ago. Someone kept calling it the "Pimp Plane" "It's all about the BOOBIES!"
