Jimbo 0 #1 December 20, 2002 Anyone know of a tool to convert between the different video file formats? I've got a bunch of videos on my PC and I'd like to convert them all to mpg or avi so that I can burn them to VCD. What's the difference between a VCD and a Super VCD? quade 3 #2 December 20, 2002 The difference between a VCD and an SVCD is about twice the resolution -- and a lot less compatability too boot. There aren't a lot of DVD players manufactured outside of Asia that play either VCDs or SVCDs in the USA. Be -certain- you know what equipment you have and are getting into before investing too much time, money and effort in doing this. BTW, SVCDs acan be pretty damn good.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Missing codecs and MP4-MP3 conversion programs were found there.
