pop 0 #1 June 8, 2003 Jump number 239 was a tandem with AggieDave. Dave will get his TM rating today. Doing a tandem was kinda coolk actually, except for the I am not in control part.7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer
riggerrob 558 #2 June 8, 2003 Reminds me of my first tandem. It was at the 1984 Canadian Nationals. I had about 300 jumps. I was strapped on the front of Rob Laidlaw. Even though Rob was captain of the World Champion 8-way team, I still felt naked and nervous. Ha! Ha!

RevJim 0 #9 June 9, 2003 Congrats Dave! Now, if you value your knees (from what I've been told) get back into that gym fulltime, or quit doing tandems now (even though you just started). It's your life, live it! AggieDave 6 #10 June 9, 2003 I do have an advantage that I'm a big and very strong SOB, but you're definately right, I need to do some specific excersizing for TMing. My shoulders are pretty sore from flying and flairing the canopies, as well as the rest of my body from doing those tandems this weekend.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." flygirlJen 0 #11 June 9, 2003 Kudos for you AggieDave! You know, I have never done a tandem before. Maybe one day I'll let a big strong guy like yourself take me up for a ride, just to see what it feels like. Jen
JeffGordon 0 #12 June 9, 2003 Wasn't that a bitch trying to find victims erperienced passengers? All of my so called friends were hiding from me for a couple of weeks.
