riddler 0 #3 September 3, 2003 Basil - mmmmm. Take a tomato, cut it in half. Grind up some cashews in a food processor - spread on tomato halves. Cover the top with fresh basil. Eat. You will like.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD

wlie 0 #6 September 3, 2003 I borrow from recipes a lot. The most creative/adventurous I've been has to be when I made sausages I used lots of sage for the chicken. For the salmon, I used chives. All the herbs came from the garden. My other ride is the relative wind.

Laurel 0 #8 September 3, 2003 Basil is good on a piece of bread with a slice of Havarti cheese topped with balsamic vinegar. If you like tomatoes, put a slice on, as well...................................................................... hooked 0 #9 September 3, 2003 There is nothing like growing your own herbs! The Basil is wonderful fresh. I have my own small herb garden, so I use a lot of fresh herbs. A really good one is Lemon Verbena, absolutely wonderful scent! The tomato/cashew recipe sounds really good, as I have more tomatoes than I know what to do with, and that only from 2 plants! I have a yellow Roma Tomato that I have made some tomato sauce with and can't wait to make pasta with a 'yellow' sauce!
