Reading contracts, negotiating with foreign banks over the terms stated in the letters of credit for the contracts we've signed. Determining the INCO terms that apply to these contracts then negotiating with the steamship lines & freight forwarders. Once they are worded correctly (easier terms for me) I schedule and supervise the traffic, packaging, customs clearance papers, researching the foreign customs / goverment requirments for transport to or through their countries, and then I do alot of follow up and fire chasing as the shipments are in transit to our over seas customers. If snags I hadn't forseen arrise I put the fires out as fast as possible. Most of the shipments are deadline shipments that can cause serious detriment to the general ledgers of both companies involved. There was that detailed enough for you Mr Pop?
