2000 Javelin leg straps

My leg straps on my javelin slowly come undone when i wear it, particularly the right leg strap. Could i have it sent to the manufacturer to have new leg straps put on to fix this?

yes.

your legstraps probably have the old style friction adapters (frame with a single bar) . My 2000 Javelin had the same problem, I now have the "new style" flip-flop SP888 adapters

Are you using the elastic bands on your leg straps, close to the adapters?

Another option is to ask your local rigger to sew on an extra layer of Type 12 webbing as per the Aerodyne Service Bulletin from a few years back.

You could also potentially use that Wichard hardware to keep it from slipping on the webbing.

Mine did the same thing. I sent it to Sunpath and they replaced the hardware. I also had them replace the pads to the new style. That was well worth the cost.
I still had some slippage problems but not nearly like I had. Now I just use a keeper and rubber band on the leg strap.
