kai2k1 0 #1 December 31, 2003 Can I download a video, burn it to a CD and play it on someone elses PC? Thanks in advance. There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan
Push 0 #2 December 31, 2003 Yup, but make sure that the video is not streaming. Basically, if you can still view the video on your own computer if you disconnect from the internet, then you can burn it just fine. -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. Push 0 #5 December 31, 2003 Oh, and one more thing. The video you use is probably using the DivX codec, so make sure you have it installed on your buddy's computer. www.divx.com -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. KrisFlyZ 0 #6 December 31, 2003 lol!! Divx == most likely porn. Don't use DivX, divx leaves spyware on your machine.

Push 0 #12 January 1, 2004 Haha, you people, tsk tsk. Yeah, the default divx distribution leaves all kinds of crap that you'll need to clean up. But he probably has all this crap anyway Practically all mpegs are now encoded as divx. This just shows what mpegs you download -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. pilotdave 0 #14 January 1, 2004 Might want to burn a codec pack onto the CD too. A lot of videos need special codecs (divx is a popular one) or they may not play at all, or just the sound will play and the video wont show. If you can find the kazaa lite website, they have a codec pack. Dave
