jumpinfarmer 0 #1 February 26, 2004 I've been saving my change for years. I figured it was a good way to keep from spending it. Now I want to buy a used rig so I roled it up today. I think the bank might not like me there's a little over 2K.

EdC 0 #3 February 26, 2004 I had ten years collected and it was about 900 bucks. Some banks won't count it for you or they charge a percentage. Have fun. Big Ed
gerryfuss 0 #4 February 26, 2004 You could buy one of those sorters, but with all that change you may overload it. How many years of saving?

mr2mk1g 10 #8 February 26, 2004 Thats how I bought my first rig!!! I'd been saving £2 coins for a few years. You don't get them that often so its no real dent in your pocket but a few quickly make a fair nest egg. Here's a photo of paying for my rig. That's £900 in £2 coins! I just went round and emptied a big money bag over his kitchen worksurface so the coins all poured everywhere
kai2k1 0 #9 February 26, 2004 Right ON!! I save all my change also. I went last year and cashed in over $400.00 that gave me 2 AFF jumps. There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan

Maybe you could find on of those & save yourself a headache.. The bad thing about those change counter machines is that they cost you 8.9 cents on the dollar. It's a good idea if you don't have much, but with large sums of money you'll end up spending a lot.I'm so funny I crack my head open! jumpinfarmer 0 #11 February 27, 2004 QuoteMan Marc. I know it's the slow season for farmers, but how much time did that take you?I had a cold and was looking for an inside job to keep me from going nuts. It only took about six hours to role it up. It took about five years to save. Most came from the farm stand.
