hookitt 0 #26 February 11, 2010 QuoteWhat about the direct stow? Just looking for another opinion. I have heard both sides of the argument. Some say it slows down he deployment others say it causes a slingshot effect. (brief hijack to hopefully answer this question) I don't know if it helps or not. I quit using it. It's simply designed to keep the slider in place until line stretch. Instead I accomplish it by using about a 6 inch bight and pull it right up against the slider grommets. On slider up, I do the micro reefing folds to the stabilizers to help hold the slider in place. Slider down, I may or may not do the micro reefing folds. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

Popsjumper: Then just S fold and get it in the container without a D-bag.1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Until morale improves, the beatings will continue.
