mailin 0 #1 August 4, 2004 I'm seldom on the 'net without some internet radio station playing. Most (if not all) of the good ones now have a paid service that offers good perks opposed to the 'free' service, and I'm going to subscribe to one of them soon... so I'm asking what do you folks listen to and why? So far I really like: Launchcast (yahoo radio) Spinner (netscape radio) Which do you like? JenArianna Frances

mailin 0 #7 August 5, 2004 Thanks for the opinions guys. I must say, I really like live365 so far. It might have ads, but not as many as launch - and they don't seem to turn it off every once in a while like launch did. The only thing i really like about Launch is the ability to program 'your station'. I have really varied interests - from alt. rock to Techno/trance/dance; from Classical to 80s pop and I like to get that all on one channel, which launch and spinner will let you do. On the other hand, live365 will let you get an an all classical or jazz station without paying any more money. Listening to a smooth jazz station at the moment, which is really nice! I'm breezing through my math homework now! LOL Thanks again all - keep 'em coming if you got 'em! JenArianna Frances
kris12 0 #8 August 5, 2004 I am a big fan of Radio Wazee, which plays alternative/modern rock. It is actually much more eclectic than that and they plays lots of brand new music. In addition, they have the "WMD" - wazee music downloads. Artists load their music onto the page and anyone can download it for free. I've come across quite a few good artists because of the wmd. It's a great station! kristen swooo #3 MB #3587 P.M.S. #66 "so let go, jump in...what're you waiting for? it's all right 'cause there's beauty in the breakdown"
canopycandy 0 #9 August 5, 2004 If you like alternative rock, you'll love www.woxy.com. I'm in love with this radio station. You might remember them from the movie Rainman, where Dustin Hoffman repeats incessantly, "97X. Bam! The future of rock 'n' roll."
