kallend 1,680 #4 August 30, 2004 One evening, week before Christmas, around 15 years ago. I was shopping for presents for the kids at a ToysRUs in the Chicago suburbs. A guy with long hair was the only other person in the aisle, and he asked me in a London accent what I know about Tyco cars. So in my London accent I told him what I knew. So we got to talking and he said he was visiting his sister who lived around there and he was getting presents for her family. Talked some more and it got around to what we did. So I'm a professor and I teach engineering ... He said he played in a rock band but he doubted that I had heard of it but my kids may have (he was correct). So, blah blah blah etc, and his name was Michael but he's known as Wurzel...... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. IMHO, Motorhead just never looked or sounded right as a four piece. For those of you that aren't going, or are not familiar with the world's greatest rock band, just stick your head inside a jet engine for 40 minutes to recreate the experience of a full red-eyed Motorhead gig. Then go buy an overpriced T-Shirt. Ha, Ticketmaster just replied. got my tix for the main floor, unreserved. no seats. Perfect.
MrHixxx 0 #6 August 30, 2004 What is the line up for Motorhead now? Is Fast Eddie playing guitar with them? I wish I was a little closer to the West Coast. It would be nice to show up and get Killed by Death. -Hixxxdeath,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

Mikkey Dee is one of the best drummers I've seen anywhere, period. Phil Campbell been with them for the last 20 odd years. They are playing your way probably. Check out http://www.imotorhead.com for current tour dates.
VectorBoy 0 #8 August 30, 2004 I believe that the original three were the very best line up, or am I just dating myself?
QuickDraw 0 #9 August 30, 2004 I saw that original line up myself 3 times & have to agree. I even still have an original 'Ace up your sleeve' tour t-shirt somewhere (just about still fits). -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning
