mattjw916 2 #2 November 2, 2004 Just leave Outlook open and it will do it automatically without any further configuration. NSCR-2376, SCR-15080
dtpilot 0 #3 November 2, 2004 thought it would say you have mail when someone sends you something....do you have cable connection or dial up... "Believe me! atsaubrey 0 #4 November 2, 2004 I thought it would too, but it does not seem to. I also need it to check every 5 minutes, not sure how often it will if you leave it alone."GOT LEAD?"
yoink 321 #5 November 2, 2004 Tools Options Mail Setup tab Send/Receive tick the box that says "schedule an automatic send/recieve every" and stick 5 in the box edit: this is from Outlook obviously...
mattjw916 2 #6 November 2, 2004 look under tools --> options... or something near there.... there should be a place to adjust the default time interval for the "send and receive" operation for the email accounts that are configured to be part of the "default" send and receive operation. When you receive new mail it should display an icon in the system tray adjacent to the date and play a sound. edit: damn you beat me!
