I'm not from there but we jumped there a couple of weeks ago and had a great time at the parades in Houma and skydiving at NOSC.

'Born in New Orleans, grew up in Hammond (class of '63 HHS) and got my first 250 or so jumps at Hammond Airport when it was the "Hot Spot" down there!! Still consider La. my home inspite of my galivanting all over the universe! Currently hop at Raeford NC. Will be heading down home around 04 Jul week and hope to get a chance to make a hop or two!! I'll keep you posted.

Hay ScottyB do you hav any info on NOSC? I was told their lease was not re newed and were closing. SUP?

They are having some trouble with the land owner. I know they are working on it but that is all I know. I hope everything works out for them. It's a fun place to jump.

I live in thibodaux but jump at Gold Coast. From people that I know that go out to NOSC every weekend and from what I see when I pass the airport, the Caravan has left and I have heard that Johnny and Nicky went back to Cross Keys, and the DZ has to shut down at the end of the month, exactly why I don't know for sure.
