Explain the age old "double standard"

Recommended Posts

Humm, women love all the attention they can get.I for sure am no stud.Don't have a black book, never needed 1,think you can figure that 1 out?(lol)Give a woman too much attention, fall in love with her,e-mail her too many times in a day and "all of a sudden" your smothering her?I thought most woman wanted to know what their man was thinking about all day besides her? There is your double standard back at ya hun.rob.

Could you provide examples of what you consider being treated like a lady would be in your work situation?

John

Not having urinals in the women's restroom! :D

ABSOLUTELY!!!! lol But I don't expect to be treated "like a lady" at work. I like to be treated like a lady socially. Work is work. The role of doctor is genderless in my opinion. However, when I'm out with friends, I'm a woman, a lady, a girl. Is that too difficult?

You guys know the one I am talking of....

A guy sleeps around, gets "pages in his book" He's stud...

Not so for the ladies.... not very fair if you ask me, if a girl even acts in such a fashion (with otu actually doing the deed) she often times gets the label of slut or ho....

what gives, are women just not allowed to be sexual creatures, or if they are are we simply not allowed to act on it?

Ive asked this question many times, and have never gotten a clear acceptable answer.... So I turn to ya'll my all knowing sky friends

IMO uptight (often insecure) people label them ho's. Me, I just encourage whatever them (male or female) to explore their sexuality. Don't intentionally hurt people, have fun.

My only expectation is that my partner stays within whatever boundries of our relationship has while I'm with them. Everything they did up until them helped shape them in to who they are. No sense in being uppity about it.

Here endeth the lesson :D.
