ryoder 1,412 #4 December 24, 2005 "Now why did they put Christmas and New Years right in the middle of holidays...when you're busy???" -- the comedian Gallagher As for myself, I celebrate Christmas and New Years by getting to bed early, then getting up early to be at the ski lift at 8:30am. On those two days there are no crowds until noon."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. RhondaLea 3 #6 December 24, 2005 I only ever celebrated Christmas for my daughter's sake. It would've been too weird for her to have Christmas at my mother's and Christmas at her father's, but no Christmas with mommy. It sure did solve the visitation problem though--he got her for all the holidays, and I got a few days to myself. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Lindercles 0 #8 December 24, 2005 If it were entirely up to me I wouldn't celebrate, but it means a lot to my family who I love dearly, so I celebrate with them. They know how I feel, but as an issue of love and respect I go along with them. Which reminds me, I have just enough time for another shot before heading off to church.
