You should have been with me in 1989 to see Mother Love Bone in Seattle. Pearl Jam, of course, rose from the ashes of this band. The late 80's were a great time to be around here, Soundgarden, Metallica, Alice in Chains. The scene has come and gone, but it was a lot of fun. Another good 80's band . . .The Pretenders.
