980 0 #1 November 28, 2007 I'm looking for a manual or packing instructions for a Paraflite Orion. Any other relevant info on this reserve would be appreciated too. thanks Sam
councilman24 36 #2 November 28, 2007 I'm somewhat surpirsed it isn't on parachutemanuals.com or another electronic reference I have but... I do have a hard copy and could supply a copy if you can't get it electronically. Don't think it was on the market long. It was pre Swift Plus. 210 sq. ft., 7 cell, Lissaman 7808 airfoil (same as most of the the early paraflite products), aspect ratio 1:2.23, pack volume 440 cu in per paraflite. I think any Orion would be at least 19 or 20 years old. I've packed one once or twice but not since the mid 90's.I'm old for my age. riggerrob 558 #4 November 28, 2007 I have hundreds of old manuals. Would you like to send a truck?
riggerrob 558 #5 November 28, 2007 Orion was introduced a couple of years after the 5-cell Swift. It uses the same construction methods, the same manual and the same packing methods.
