niolosoiale 0 #1 May 28, 2006 Ok. Bare with me on this because not being able to legally engage in social drinking during which I was able to be a supplier, has left me with out the ole' know-how on how to deliver when you allegedly owe beer. (Yeah yeah, I'm a tard in this department.) Really this all boils down to one simple question. How do you determine what kind of fucking beer ya get? NOTE: I typed a 5 sentence paragraph elaborately adding contextual bullshit which served to overcomplicate the very simple question stated above. I'm way too damn verbose on forums. MF42 0 #2 May 28, 2006 I'm a non-drinker and realize that I'm clueless about beer, so I just asked a few different people at the DZ, and bought what seemed the most commonly requested brand. Pretty simple really. Matt
niolosoiale 0 #3 May 28, 2006 See I guess that's fine. My biggest concern is looking like a tard figuring it out. Which I figured I'd take care of here rather than in person.
MF42 0 #4 May 28, 2006 Yeah, I really don't mind looking uncool. I've been a nerd all my life and don't expect to change anytime soon.Besides, they're all way-cool shit-hot mad-skills skydivers! You and I... aren't. Yet! Matt
Tink1717 2 #5 May 28, 2006 Each drop zone has its own brand choice. Observing will usually tell you what brand they like.Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. They ring the bell and runaway... niolosoiale 0 #6 May 28, 2006 True is that. Same here in the nerd department. Well, I'm not so much a nerd as I am eccentric and socially self-defeating as a result. I can blend in ok, but once I start interacting, I start walking through the minefield.

LyraM45 0 #8 May 28, 2006 green bottles always suit pretty well. Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)
JohnMitchell 14 #9 May 28, 2006 Brown bottles better, think Samuel Adams. My favorite kind of beer . . .Free. So don't worry what you get. I've never seen beer that was not good enough to be drunk at the DZ.
dustin19d 0 #10 May 28, 2006 If you owe beer, its free to everyone else. I for one could care less whats on the lable if its free. Im sure thats the general consensusIf you owe your rigger, just ask.

niolosoiale 0 #12 May 28, 2006 Yeah, I wouldn't expect to be able to take bring a case that would not be emptied by the next morning if it was offered freely. That's just implied.
niolosoiale 0 #13 May 28, 2006 But how could you turn that around for "bear"? I did actually consider putting "bear"

AggieDave 6 #15 May 28, 2006 Shiner Bock. Its a very easy choice. Or Newcastle or Fattire. Atleast those are the beers of choice at my DZ. Your DZ probably wants Schaffer Light, so that's what you should get for your DZ. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
