I gotta disagree. The cold, even though painful, at least makes you feel energized and alive. Winter air just tastes better. Heat and humidity leech all energy and motivation away, makes me feel half dead. Working outside in the ridiculous cold is a challenge! An adventure! Working outside in the heat is only misery.

Cold is misery. Heat is, well, kinda sexy.

Heat and humidity are no leeches--to the contrary your body is not having to work overtime heating itself as it would in the cold.

Heat brings the opportunity for tons of fun outdoor activities. I can kayak all day in the blazing heat, so long as I have a cooler full of water, my cute straw floppy hat, aviators and a tiny bikini with lots of sunblock. You can always jump in the water really quick, too.

I miss common sense (tm). It seems that some people still have a little bit from when it was still available, but for the most part, its absence is certainly felt.
