Scoop 0 #1 January 19, 2007 I've still never seen the film but I want to. That film had a kick ass soundtrack with some great one off collaberations like this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfTg4Fcza58
Lindercles 0 #2 January 19, 2007 Pretty much everything Mike Patton touches is genius....except that.
Scoop 0 #3 January 19, 2007 Take it back... take it back now! I've only just discovered Tomahawk but they rock too. Fantomas and Mr Bungle not my cup of tea really. TOMAHAWK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZVTsx_MKLA FANTOMAS cape fear: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_aHjaoABWA FAITH NO MORE: gentle art of making enemies http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJAX_JSe9Wk
Lindercles 0 #4 January 19, 2007 Well then, you'll enjoy this little anecdote: I've seen Mike Patton live twice, both with Tomahawk. As it turns out, Tomahawk is my aboslute least favorite Patton project. Edited to add: Fantomas is cool, Bungle is one of the best bands ever.
Scoop 0 #5 January 19, 2007 Faith No More is obv the best. If you like Fantomas and Mr Bungle then your weirder than I previously thought... and I already had you ranked pretty high
hisgoofyness 0 #6 January 19, 2007 QuoteMr Bungle not my cup of tea really. Personally, Mr Bungle is my favorite of his work. Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!
Lindercles 0 #7 January 19, 2007 There's a reason I don't post (or talk) much about my musical tastes.
Slappie 9 #8 January 19, 2007 I'm another vote for Mr. Bungle. I can listen to anything from Mozart to Napalm Death. Put country on my radio and die! Country music is the most fake shit ever. Worse then the dorks from American Idol. "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them." Lindercles 0 #9 January 19, 2007 I should start a poll: "Is California one of the five best albums ever, in any genre?" Of course I already know the answer is yes, but then I could find out who all the cool people are.
Scoop 0 #10 January 19, 2007 Well for those that dont know who Mr Bungle is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4rqXqpLCZ0
Lindercles 0 #11 January 19, 2007 To be fair, pulling one song off of California and expecting it to be representative of Mr. Bungle if roughly equivalent to drawing a line on a piece of paper and expecting the reader to extrapolate the blueprint of the pentagon. Edited to add: even if it is a great song.
Scoop 0 #12 January 19, 2007 Haha, they are so fucked up I think one is enough
hisgoofyness 0 #13 January 19, 2007 QuoteI should start a poll: "Is California one of the five best albums ever, in any genre?" Actually, I think I like the self titled "Mr. Bungle" album better... may be because I first heard them in the early 90's and listened to it for several years before California came along. Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!
Lindercles 0 #14 January 19, 2007 I was a tough sell, too. My friends kept telling me that California was the better album, and I kept telling them they were crazy. The self titled album just has a certain nostalgia for me. But eventually I succumbed. As much as the self titled album holds a dear place in my heart, I do believe that California is musically the better album. But I definitely won't shit on your opinion. It's like having to pick which is better, a blowjob, or a blowjob.

I thought it was one of the best albums I ever heard. All were brilliant musicians. A band of mine tried playing "Love is a Fist" but we could never get the timing quite right, My wife is hotter than your wife.
Lindercles 0 #16 January 20, 2007 It's not funny, my ass in on fire. edited to add: lawrocket, you were already pretty high on my list, but you just jumped up several units.
