hjumper33 0 #1 October 9, 2006 It seems like every manufacturer says this about their top of the line canopy. How can every canopy out there be "the best"? Would parachutist ever do a canopy comparison ala consumer reports? Just got tired of readling that every canopy in skydiving is the best in its group and wondered if anyone else felt the same. piisfish 135 #2 October 9, 2006 a car is also always the best car... advertising : "the shittiest canopy on the market--- EVER" wouldn't help with the sales. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

darkwing 4 #4 October 9, 2006 One issue is the definition of the phrase "highest performance." I illustrate with two extremes... Highest swooping performance, and highest accuracy performance. Neither is "better" than the other in general, just better at what they do. Apples and oranges. Each mfr is free to define "highest performance" in a way that makes their canopy come in first place. -- Jeff My Skydiving History
