Tennis shoes and shorts in Montana in the winter? I say you should always dress for the hike out when flying cross country in light planes. :S

Yep, or as we instructed in the Air Force, you "dress for egress".:ph34r:

Ouch! The only good thing about almost being frozen is that it -might- have made his dislocated shoulder hurt a bit less. B| Can't even imagine hiking in that deep of snow with it, though!! :(

Ouch those Xrays look like my old dislocated shoulder which came out in freefall.

I have to tell you, steering a reserve and learning how to flare a parachute with one working arm makes you feel AWESOME when you get down on the ground--you don't notice the dislocated shoulder pain for a good solid.... oh at least 40 minutes. :P

I'm sure he was pretty cognizant and not even aware of the temps or the pain for at least a short while... but after that DAYUM that would have sucked.

Frozen balls and an anterior dislocation gotta suck! B|
