Broke 0 #3 March 20, 2009 Up in Prescott is Thumb Butte that is always a nice hike. I don't know much about Phoenix except that it is hot day and night there. The Granite Dells is pretty fun too. A fun drive on some switchbacks will being you to Jerome, and old mining town, but that is several hours north of Phoenix.Divot your source for all things Hillbilly. LongWayToFall 0 #4 March 20, 2009 Camelback mountain is surrounded by phoenix, an odd place for a mountain but a kick ass view on the top. Short hike but steep. Maybe 1 hour each way. Do it! http://www.gistwireless.com/camelback-mountain-phoenix-arizona.jpg

LongWayToFall 0 #8 March 21, 2009 Yeah gotta watch out for diamondback rattlers too, they are very common. You should go to the grand canyon. Its several hours away, but worth it x100
