I have NEVER, in the 10 years I've been jumping, had an issue with "being allowed."

I didn't know the Air Force 'allowed' its male members to carry around purse dogs.

Don

Sorry Don, I skipped over this reply before.
As far as my purse dog goes. They don't mind the dog Hell most of the people I work with actually like him. He's very well trained. They do ,however, make weird faces when I bring my purse to work, Go figure.:D

I'm a flier in the AF. I fucked up my ankle skydiving and wasn't able to fly for a few weeks. They didn't say much but if happens often (start to miss work)I'm pretty sure I'll get banned due to the fact that now I'm losing work because of it.

I also fly and I did the same thing. (Jacked up ankle - 3 weeks no fly). I had no problems with skydiving.

In SUPT they won't let you skydive, but everywhere else I've been (USAFE, ACC and even AETC as an IP) they have no problems.

in the Marine Corps, it's location specific. Some commands have specific directives on procedures to follow for approval to jump. Some have no direction, hence it's a-ok. Others state no jumping whatsoever. Read the various orders associated with your command. It's tedious, but it comes in handy for multiple things, skydiving included.
Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
