shropshire 0 #1 May 4, 2010 QuoteA real-life 'Spiderman' has saved the day by catching an alleged thief who tried to steal a valuable comic. The 45-year-old owner of the comic store in Adelaide saw a customer "behaving suspiciously". So, he sprang into action and saved the day. His heroics were caught on CCTV. clicky (.)Y(.) GeorgiaDon 340 #5 May 4, 2010 Thanks. Good job by the shopkeeper, but not a very "action-packed" video. This reminds me of an article I read once about entomologically-themed superheroes. Since spiders actually have the spinnerets (where the silk thread for the web comes out) on their butt end, an anatomically correct Spiderman would have to bend over and shoot his web out of his ass to catch the bad guys. Not very "heroic" looking, but tons of comic potential. Don_____________________________________ Tolerance is the cost we must pay for our adventure in liberty. wolfriverjoe 1,351 #6 May 4, 2010 I would think the real heroes would be the cops who must have had superpowers to "manage to keep a straight face" when they showed up. And I bet that the thief get his ass kicked repeatedly in jail. He got caught by a bunch of geeks dressed as comic-book superheroes. How humiliating is that??
