Anvilbrother 0 #1 May 7, 2012 I personally have been a bunny ears man going on 31 years. I recently tried the loop swoop and pull, and was very pleased with the outcome. hookitt 0 #2 May 7, 2012 Both of those come undone to easy with out double knots and such. I learned a different one and sure enough, no double knots needed unless you're shortening up the leftovers. It's a little cumbersome for kids learning to tie for the first time but grown ups, such as yourself could figure it out pretty quick Video... Hmmm, no time right now to make a video but if I can REMEMBER to visit this thread again. I'll show you. Tunnel fliers rejoice! My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... jumpsalot-2 2 #9 May 8, 2012 I'm not the most educated around, but I have tried to un-tie a Surgeon's Knot or two........good luck getting it apart if you've tied it correctly. If you tied your shoes with one, well..............Life is short ... jump often.
riddler 0 #10 May 10, 2012 I'm familiar with the loop swoop and pull, I learned about them both when I attended the hospital bed of a fellow jumper that got his fingers caught in a loop. Not being a swooper, can you show a picture or explain "bunny ears"?Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
Andy0689 0 #11 May 10, 2012 I taught my 5-year old the Loop, swoop and pull method a couple of months ago. A little practice one morning and the next morning when we started to practice again he nailed it first time. Bunny ears suck. Here's a video with the loop, swoop and pull and bunny ears plus a cool way to speed tie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKWL1md7Dv4Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
