I drowned in a pool as a kid. I was dead. Fortunately I was pulled from the water and revived just in time. Take my world for it, drowning is anything but peaceful. Try freezing to death instead. I'm sure it is rather violent and anything but peaceful, I expect that. Most of us will suffer in our last moments and I can respect and accept that as part of the process. The peacefulness is the most comfortable place I've ever been, which is floating around in a calm sea watching the stars by myself. That's the last thing I'd like to see and experience. I'll let the sea take me away when it's my time, if I get that chance. Thanks for sharing your experience.
