will it fit?

Recommended Posts

You can usually get away with installing a canopy 10% larger or 10% smaller than the container manufacturer recommends.
Beyond that you risk trouble.
Either you will get a hernia struggling to close a container that is too tight, and will worry about "container lock" type malfunctions, or your pin will be so loose that you worry about pre-mature deployments.

I've looked up the main size on sunpath but just want field experience comment on whether a stiletto 135 will fit in a nj jav? NJ's are made for up to a 120.

It would be a little tight. You'd have to at least lengthen the closing loop.

Not to mention you might have the 10% larger than normal main and 10% smaller container. So it might not go at ALL. Each individual combination of specific main and rig need to be tested when at the limits of the manufacturers recommendations.
