Andy9o8 0 #3 January 30, 2014 You'd be surprised how many kooks file off-the-wall lawsuits like this. Most just don't hit the news before they're given the heave-ho.
Boogers 0 #4 January 30, 2014 Heck, they spent billions of dollars to send a rover there to poke around and look for life. That wasn't good enough?
quade 3 #5 January 30, 2014 Understand this has almost nothing to do with "life on Mars" and almost everything to do with promoting the guy as an author of books for UFO true believers. For him it's a win-win. He gets publicity and if NASA or the courts say "no" then he can say "the government" is covering up his "fungus alien" theory.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
davjohns 1 #6 January 31, 2014 I love conspiracy theories. One of my favorites came out years ago after NASA blew back to back trips to Mars. One failed to answer back. The other missed the planet. They said they thought metric was standard and messed up the math. The conspiracy theorist called bullshit. He said nobody in the scientific community uses standard, so that is no excuse (besides, they used that same excuse when the Hubble wouldn't focus). And, the guys who did this really are rocket scientists. Therefore, he concluded, both missions were successful and found proof of life on Mars. The dumb excuses were just a coverup. Pretty good argument.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
