Hooknswoop 19 #27 May 21, 2004 QuoteAll this outrage over PD's new 99 sq. ft. reserve..... Any guesses on how PD’s 99 compares, size wise, to PA's MR-109-M. Hint: it isn't 10 sq. ft. smaller. No one wants to guess on the difference in sizes? Where was all the outrage about the 109? It is business, if PD can sell it, they will build it. johnny1488 1 #28 May 21, 2004 I can only guess. When I bought my first rig (a j4) I was told by numerous sources that the dash-m 218 was not much bigger at all than the pd-176 that I wound up buying. So I'll guess the mr-109-m is pretty damn small. But then again, I dont think Ill ever have to go smaller than my 143 or at worst a 126. At this point, my reserve is 2 square feet larger than my main and I cant see it ever having to be smaller than my main given my exit weight. Johnny --"This ain't no book club, we're all gonna die!" Hooknswoop 19 #29 May 21, 2004 They are about the same size, at least within a couple of sq. ft. So something like 6 years after PA released the 109-M, PD releases a similarly sized reserve and people are outraged Derek

skymedic 0 #31 May 24, 2004 I have had the fortune of jumping my Dash M 218 and jumping a PD 176 hooked up as a main. the 218 was definately larger...the PD was easier to land though....just my opinion.
