TXBLKBEAR 0 #1 November 19, 2003 Hey all, I am a new skydiver and I love it. All I think about is getting to the DZ. I find it hard to work! I'm from Texas and my DZ is Skydive Dallas. Just wanted to introduce myself and see whats here. J.R. Airborne!
AggieDave 6 #2 November 19, 2003 Welcome! You'll find a lot of Texans on the forums here. I've been to SD Dallas a few times, especially since I grew up in Sherman, although I started jumping in Granbury. Now days I'm a bit further south, around Texas A&M and jumping in Aggieland.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." sdgregory 0 #5 November 20, 2003 The addiction only gets worse the closer you get to getting licensed because you start doing cool stuff. Then you do your fisrt 4-way or solo or sit fly and forget it you are toast and every spare dime (and some slated for bills) goes into it. Gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump, gotta jump. Yeah kinda like that. Welcome to the forums and the skies.

TXBLKBEAR 0 #7 November 20, 2003 Yea! SDD is great! I'm quite new to the sport and feel very lucky to be in the company of the people at SDD. In this case the people make the sport. I had my reservations after I saw the huge number of african american skydivers in this sport (not). Its strange but fun, I seem to be some what of an over night celebrity. Airborne!
