Logo on canopie?

Recommended Posts

PISA used to have some very good rates on Artwork on canopies.

I'd contact Aerodyne and see what they say, since they have absorbed PISA's old production facility, but none of their "bad" products.

I honestly doubt it. We recently had a canopy done for a sponsor and checked several options before actually doing it. The sponsor had money though, so a new canopy was made with the logo sewn in (PD). The cost was $2000 above the price of the canopy, although this varies depending on the amount of artwork. There is also a guy in Jacksonville, FL who actually "paints" the logo on canopies. I don't know his name off-hand, but he charges in the $700 to $1500 range depending on the logo.

I received a simlilar quote from Icarus for a single-color full-size logo. I've been told that the price increases with the complexity of the design.

there are ways to get it for less then $500. i got my for "free" (see pic attached) :)

is price quote for a logo really 2 grand ?? that's a lot of money. but i was really surprised
how nicely logo was done. my canopy is yellow with black logo and even small tabs on the
bottom skin of the canopy are black where they happen to be on the logo. and it looks
very nice in the air. didn't see it from the ground yet though.

Some body know if it's possible to put a big logo on canopie for less than 500$

Thanks

The answer to that is no. Not for less than $500. Besides adding to the canopy pack volume, adding a logo of any kind requires that it be sewn to the individual pieces of the canopy before it is assembled. On average this can add an additional 10+ hours of time to the overall construction since it needs to be checked after each sewing to ensure it is all lining up correctly. It is very labor intensive and time is money.
