I usually go to skydive houston but i'm really not feeling this DZ. I seem to get dirty looks when I need some help trying to pack my chute. Anyone ever been to Spaceland or jump there on a regular basis???

I'm really new into the sport and I was wondering if buying really cheap gear is bad... my price range atm is about 1000 to 16000. What do you guys think ?????? I really can't afford to go any higher and I'm sick of renting equipment !

I hope you understand that Pakistan gets numerous bombings and its leaders get assassinated. You know why ? Because it supports America. Maybe you should stop referring to Muslims as "Rag Heads" or "Towel Heads" You rely on them and they rely on you. Well, I'm blowing a lot of money on renting their equipment ... I can't help it at all though it's so addicting. I usually go there every saturday and sunday if the weather is doing good. Hope to see you out there.. Farhad

Yayyyyy I have an A license !!!!!!! Now what ? I have to go out and spend 8 grand for decent gear ? I need help, I need to know what's safe and what's decent to get. Is used gear reliable ? I really wish I could get everything I need for about 3 thousand..... if not I suppose I'll have to continue renting gear for a while..... Oh, and does anyone go to Skydive Houston in Waller ?
