Quick cheap fix is to re-sew the BOC pouch for the left hand deployment. Any rigger can do it. That assumes, that your left hand is better then your right hand.

Another option is to re-sew the BOC pouch to ROL (Rear Of Leg). ROL is not compatibile with Freeflying or Wingsuiting, but was popular in the 80s.

Also, see the physical therapist for exercises to increase your hand mobility.

I was wondering why tension knots on the tandem reserves are far more common than on sport (solo) reserves.

I recall reading about approx 10 tandem reserve tension knots cases, and only about one sport reserve tension knot case.

What is the reason for that, considering that (worldwide) there are more sport reserve rides, then tandem reserve rides. Does it have anything to do with the fact that tandem reserves are mostly lined with Dacron, as opposed to sport reserve mostly lined with Microline ?

I think a better solution might be to reexamine the end on the housing. I was really interested when Mirage came out with their housing ends. Why should we be stuck with #0 grommets. That hole could be smaller. At first they had sharp edges and there were some marks being left on cables, They radiused them and fixed that problem but that makes the hole "wider". I just think that hole could be smaller. Large enough for a twist in the line to pass through but smaller then we have now.

How about this new housing end?

It seriously only jumps 3 ft?!? Is that common on all Sunpath reserve PC's?

These are all JAVELIN containers in this video. BTW, the Javelin spring is 20 lbs strong. Vector, Mirage, and Infinity is more than 40 lbs.
