Thanks. I plan to do my AFF ground school and first jump tomorrow. Welcome to the jungle! Keep us up to date on the AFF progress. Ok. So I did my AFF Level 1 today. Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kkaxL7676A&feature=channel_page I wasn't nervous during my tandem jump, but I was nervous in AFF Level 1. Even in the video, when I said that I wasn't nervous, I was lying through my teeth. AFF is very intensive ground school, and very intensive training, and can easily scare away someone who has never jumped before. Thus, I would recommend someone do tandem first. However, once I deployed my chute, the rest was simply beautiful, peaceful, and simply indescribable. I would HIGHLY recommend that you do a tandem jump for your first jump. I did my first jump tandem, and my second (today) AFF Level 1. AFF is very intensive ground school, and very intensive training, and can easily scare away someone who has never jumped before. I wasn't nervous during my tandem jump, but I was nervous in AFF Level 1. Taking the first step wasn't really hard at all, but everything up to that point did get me nervous. Thanks for the welcome, SkyMama. I am training at SkyDive the Farm in Rockmart, Georgia. I did my AFF there, and I can't say enough about everyone there, great great people! I can't wait to get back there an finish my A license. Hopefully, I will be starting my AFF training there tomorrow.
