I was thinking the same thing myself until I saw that the stats were collected by the U of M. Still, it's very possible that they may ahve been doing the study on behalf of MPI. Very True again, however this study wasn't done by harvesting MPI's database to see what accidents were filed vs how many accidents took place, it was done using cars equiped with monitoring equipment. In this study they gave cars to selcted individuals and just asked them to go about their normal routine for a said amount of time. Through the use of this equipment they were able to track the points I mentioned earlier. I completly agree. You may or may not be reffering to roblin, where the limit is always shifting from 50- 60 which is a pain in the ass for the amount of traffic that has to flow down that street during peak times, this has been a speed trap for me many a time and it drive me crazy when I am just keeping up with traffic. As to the meeting on traffic lights, I agree once again and belive that I was at that meeting a few years back. City counsil meetings are sometimes open to the public while they are debating and some friends and I thougt it would be an intriguing way to get some insight as to what our tax dollars are going to. I was just looking at my log book this am and looked back at a jump I did in 2K2, it brought back a lot of memories. I have low jumps numbers but reading my log book brings me back to every one of those jumps. What does going over your log book do for you? My routine would be fairly simple I'd play soccer then go and play hide and seek with the kids and look forward to watching saturday night live and telling everyone we stayed up till midnight. I also became really good friends with a girl named Coleen, who was my first kiss when I was 8 or 9.

It is a little funny seeing you guys on here, but hey, learning is learning right. I feel a little better about what happened now because I have just had the chance to learn some more about it. After talking to you guys on saturday it made me feel a lot better about what happened but also like I said on Saturday I didn't want to bother you guys with the same topic over and over again. It's nice to know that with the knowledge all of you guys have there I should be alright. I am a low time jumper myself for me I slept like a baby that night, and many subsequent nights after that. Just this weekend at the dropzone, I was telling the more experiences guys how I felt like I didn't know anything about skydiving being so new when one of them said. This past weekend on my second jump of the day on saturday, I was practicing my papper pulls to I could move up to my 10 second delays. Anyways, the jump goes great and I look up and I'm falling too fast. The bag is above me and I am stable but there is no canopy comming out. "Oh Shit" I am thinking. After about 4 seconds the thing finally opened and I was relieved. I am wondering if not stowing the lines to tightly would prevent this from happening in the future, and what you would all consider to be the norm in this situation. All opinions welcome.
