  1. Ok! after looking through this video more thoroughly, im definitely calling bullshit on this one. 1. You never actually see the hook being inserted in detail 2. you never see any cats being eaten 3. Why hasn't this been exposed before if it was real
  2. Keep em' coming! i have over 2 months till the season kicks off, some videos to ease the pain would be great!
  3. Damn! i was going to suggest "Drifting" :P that is a sick track!!
  4. THIS is why i have no sympathy whatsoever for people getting owned by wild animals! its a rush of joy seeing matadors being brutally gored, elephants trampling their owners, and wild lions mauling circus artists! of course i eat and all that, but i know for sure that the burger i just ate came from a cow that was treated well up until its death. Aren't there ANY other ways of killing dolphins? or is it just that they are so primitive they don't know better? This makes me think of the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda where the Hutu militia slaughtered almost a million people with machetes, rocks, sickles, and knives. How more primitive can you get? i know for sure how i would like to go! id take the gun over the machete any day. Oh, and PETA is a bunch of morons! someone linked to the Bullshit ep about them, its worth the time!
  5. Ill second that Andy! hoping to meet and photograph him at World Base Race this summer! he's a one of a kind nut!

  7. Im getting a new (and my first) suit for this season, and im getting one from Kurupee. Now i only have a few questions before placing my order.. 1. How is the tight fit in comparison with the medium one? i really don't like stuff that is baggy, is it REALLY tight or is it a good fit? 2. Supplex or Cotton? 3. High or Regular collar? 4. Elastic or Velcro for leg cuffs? I will do mostly FF and video. I'm 5,7 and 145bls Does anyone have photos of themselves in Kurupee suits? Thanks in advance www.trondteigen.com
  8. Viosport has some nice ones! but as with many bulletcams you are dependant on having a recording device stored somehere on your body..
  9. Cant find any pro's other than the small size Cons: Obviously the lack of quality Lack of storage space Lack of attachment possibilities for proper lenses
  10. In july i covered the first ever World Base Race as a stills photographer, and in the september issue of "skydive magazine" one of my photos made the front page. I have tried to get a hold ofa copy of the issue. but to no help. Therefore i ask, does anyone have an extra copy of the september issue laying around? i would gladly pay shipping and then some, if someone would send me one! not that i haven't published alot of photos before (4 years as a freelance photographer) but since this was a magazine abroad that is read by so many, it would be nice to have! If you're up for it, hit me up! at least check my site :) www.trondteigen.com
  11. The Canon 40D should probably be a good camera! alltough the lighter 400D (Xti in the US) is probably a better option for "first timers" The 40D weighs in at about 800 grams with the battery The 400D weighs about 550 grams with the battery On top of that weight you will have the weight of a lens. so in total you will have around 1 Kilo of weight on your helmet not counting the weight of the helmet itself. I will start flying video and stills next summer, and im not going to put something on my head that might damage my neck. "better safe than sorry" i will probably borrow cameras before i purchase something of my own, to test out and to get the feel of how it is with the extra weight. but both the 40D and 400D are excellent cameras and will be more than enough for skydiving.
  12. I can positively confirm that Canon is a great brand! i have been working as a freelance photographer for the past 4 years. and have two Canon MKIIN bodies, but i will have to get a lighter body for skydiving, and i WILL get a canon. I also have a Canon 500mm F4 IS USM telephoto lens, and have been joking about jumping with it, but that thing would probably break your neck on exit ;P
  13. Thanks alot! its pretty much what i had in mind! it should work just fine i think.
  14. Speed is just fine for me... But then again im on a 20mbit fiberoptic line.. If you're on a dial-up its probably slow. Thanks for the feedback everyone! I will se what i can do about thumbnails! good thing you mentioned it, it would make it alot more user friendly! BTW! here is a pic of mine that ran the front page of Skydiving Magazine! if anyone would happen to have a extra copy of this issue, i would gladly pay shipping if you could send it to me! http://72.47.205.61/images/news/Base-Race.jpg
  15. Wow! so many nice shots! Is there any wallpaper section at these forums? it would be SO cool to have a place to submit wallpapers you photographed! I know for sure i need a nice wallpaper for my comp! im running at 1680x1050! someone hit me up!
  17. As i mentioned in my other topic, im new to the forums. And i just thought i'd share my website! i've been working as a freelance stills photographer for the past 4 years, and i can't wait to start flying with a camera! Then maybe ill get some nice air to air photos on the site! Meanwhile, enjoy the BASE photos you find on there :) Link: www.trondteigen.com
  18. Hey guys! fresh to the forums, and season fresh skydiver here! i will start filming sometime next summer, and i have a Tonfly Fuego Pro helmet. I have eyed out the Sony TG3 camera, and it looks like a good beginner camera. What im wondering is whether or not the Cookie Tg3 box will adapt good to the Tonfly helmet. I was thinking about cutting a piece of aluminum to fit the 4 mounting hole on the cookie box, then attaching the Zkulls mount to the aluminum plate, then fix the whole thing to the side of my helmet. Has anyone tried this? and do you think i will risk getting alot of helmet in the frame with the 0.5 lens? Thanks in advance!
