  1. If you decide not to jump it you are welcome to send it to me for proper disposal.
  2. What is that stuff for? I got some with my protector and can't figure it out.
  3. I emailed them asking some questions about the Viso, I didn't even own an L&B product. Within hours I received an email from Mads answering all of my questions. He also wanted to know my address so he could send me a Christmas present. A week or so later I got a Protector, a bunch of batteries, and some patches and stickers. I realized then that they were the folks to deal with.
  4. Excuse me sir but here in Bama we have sex with our blood sisters
  5. anyone who knows. Do master riggers here have to build a rig as part of their qualification?
  6. Thats pretty cool that you're making a harness/container. Are you allowed to jump the rig when you complete it?
  7. I wonder why they don't rework them or something along those lines for like half the price of a new unit.
  8. My first jump was a tandem. The wind noise during freefall was crazy. I found myself gasping for air, it seemed like I couldn't get a breath. There wasn't any sensation of falling. It wasn't like falling off your roof or on a roller coaster where you get the rise in your stomach. The experience was very extreme. Then all of the sudden it felt my brains were going to fly out of my toes when the canopy opened. The canopy ride was much less wild feeling but equally fun. The only way to explain it is beautiful. Every thing was much more quiet. Nothing around you like every other time you've flown. My second jump was a little different. No difficulty breathing. I had a job to do in freefall checking heading, alt, my instructors, doing practice throws. The level of adrenaline is like my first sexual experience. All in all the most awesome thing in the world.
  9. I was at the DZ today learning how to pack and they had the King Air taken apart replacing some hoses I think. They said they were part of a 2 or 4 yr maintenance schedule, can't remember which. Made me feel good too see them taking care of that kind of thing.
  10. I guess my point didn't get conveyed very well. The more I read the post the more I'm thinking how I would feel if I were Eric. The seller definitely got screwed but It's not Eric's fault. I don't have alot of money and if I lost my rig it would end my skydiving days. Hell I'm trying to scrape together money to buy my first rig and am not even close. Companies assume risk when they go into business. My wife is a business manager at a company that distributes industrial equipment. She said they got taken with a bad CC last week and will have to absorb the cost. I feel for the seller and would never advocate the sale of stolen gear. BUT, Eric did nothing wrong, he even stated that he checked the numbers to see if the gear was stolen. I'm sorry if my previous post was pointed but this issue hits home. If or when I'm able to buy a rig I plan on doing everything in my power to protect my investment.
  11. I wish someone would post the dealers name, or the dealer would post up. I want to make sure I don't ever buy gear that was ever connected to this guy for fear that due to his sloppy practices I might pay for gear that he lays claim to after four years.
  12. Ya know, I think everything has been covered here at least once. If no one posted because they found everything they were looking for by searching there wouldn't be much point in having a forum right. Sorry I fucking hate replies like that. Search is broken.... Man, don't I feel like a dick. Sorry for my post then, I thought you were being an ass. I love you
