  1. Well crap. No Aboulomania ?
  2. The short version is: neurological tics can be stressed induced and temporary. Like being a famous baseball player - for a day.
  3. If thats true the person has medical records. It might relate to his grudge - unemployable ? Needs money. Has a history. ....... would show up in any serological tests. FBI didnt do any serology ?! Paranoid personality with a history? Vietnam ? Has been living under some bridge or at the Molalah Motel with the Unabomber and the 'Commander' of the Upper Room ? Is headed for "The Place you would like ... Minnesota is Nice Country ... Get the show on the road ..." There is a file on this guy somewhere - - - may have received Voc Rehab services ? If that were to turn out true the FBI would have some explaining to do - how they missed DB Cooper in plain sight ?
  4. Tics can be mistaken for akathisia, tardive dyskinesia, or other hyperkinetic movement disorders sometimes induced by drugs used to treat psychological disorders ?
  5. what is the source of all of this 'new testing new dna tests' ? Is there a source or is this all hallucination / media gobble wobble ? Why do people spreading rumors never post a source ? (because its all rumor and falsehoods ?)
  6. Didnt it all start with McCoy .... or as it were .... Galen Cook and his FBI friends. What goes round sometimes comes around. Like a beetle traveling on a ball. The bigger the ball the longer it takes. Is this a rumor, a cause, promotion, wishful thinking, a plan, an award, or just beetles traveling on the social media plane ? What goes around comes around. I am sure Galen Cook is smiling in any event. Maybe Galen started this rumor too ? Is Galen Cook still alive ?
  7. Wasnt it the US SUN that reported life on Pluto ? No evidence there is a Menards or Starbucks on Pluto ! On the other hand, most people dont care much less know that the Earth is not round. Whatever sells . . . its all promotions.
  8. When will this miracle happen !?
  9. and the proof for this is ... ? There is nothing in Hancock's interview that mentions a purse.
  10. It has always been my hope that we could get more forensically trained people working on the Cooper case, developing new evidence which implies more actual lab work, ....... and the sooner the better. Time is the enemy in this matter! It is an issue of Common Cause !
  11. ditto . . . except it is often his way, or the highway. FJ can be very forceful. That is difficult for some people to deal with over time, whether he is correct or wrong. FJ tends to foster the notion he is never wrong! That stifles discussion ... the issue is 'tolerance' ? FJ wants a basic set of facts of the Cooper case set in stone and he has gone some distance to do that. When other people come along with claims of their own, that is where the friction starts ... and frankly it wears down everyone. Cooper forums by their nature can be disappointing and full of friction, due to a conflict of personalities and claims and goals people are expressing. I think establishing a neutral ground is very important in keeping any discussion group going. ? Dropzone has managed to do that through it Moderators/moderation. Dropzone has supported a Cooper discussion thread for many years, largely successfully! I respect DZ for that! Amen! Just my personal opinion ....
  12. No. as far as I know. But my vision is poor and my 'vision' even poorer! My guess is he's on vacation by his own choice - a temporary condition. I look for his return at any moment.
  13. Would the FBI release the finger print and palm print data it has? We know (I guess) this data figured heavily in the FBI's analysis of suspects. Maybe we are looking in the wrong cupboard for what the FBI is willing to release and comment constructively about ?
  14. My advice is to NEVER prejudge these things. Let the evidence speak for itself before judging anything .... because you dont have evidence until testing is done. A headlamp was retrieved from a junk yard eight years after a hit-and-run cold case in Appelton WI. The lab person was interested to know if the sealed beam filament was distended at any angle other than the normal. The lamp was opened and the filament presented a distention at about 20* from normal to the right indicating a right side impact when the lights were on and hot, with something some time during the headlight's lifetime. With that information the former owner of the car came forward to a Judge and admitted she had been the driver of the car in the unsolved 3:00am hit and run cold case. There was a media circus over this ... with gratitude from the family of the deceased student jogger.
  15. Very forward thinking on their part! ?
  16. I think it will be multiple donors everywhere you look in this case, due to the evidence available. The cig butts were lost but were handled? The drink cup lost but handled...?
  17. Good luck! Do you know if there is a root on that slide hair? I believe there isn't ?
  18. What of the 'grudge' Cooper mentioned ? That is social-political. Maybe just idle talk to pass the time ? Not going to take the plane to Cuba. Knows the geography of Seattle-Portland, McChord AFB and ground travel times ... ? Gives the pilot flap settings! ..... Builds a bomb that he says could blow up the whole plane and kill everyone including himself! That alone is several stages beyond mere robbery ? A dead guy cant spend his gains ?
  19. So why didnt Cooper just rob a bank ?
  20. What was LD's motive/grudge? Wet socks? Needed $50 for car parts ? Ran out of rubbers?
  21. Carr makes a point which is actually a challenge. Carr cites the massive investigation which failed to turn up Cooper. Carr says that means Cooper probably died in the jump ? He was no longer living to be found! It could also mean Cooper was a marginalised person living on the margins of society and not easy to find. Or, "the place you would like" is outside the search zone of the FBI ? Cooper asked for $200k which was significant but also modest by other standards. Cooper is 45-50 years of age so he has already lived the productive period of his life - he doesnt have much time left to produce and make money. He doesnt really need much more than $200k to live out the rest of his life, by 1971 standards. Especially if he is sick and already living in a marginalised state. His expectations by be small. He makes several comments to Tina that reference past experiences, travel, and modest expectations vs large future plans. He offers up part of the money! Part of his money is later found at Tena Bar! Is that part of a pattern? How much money did it take to survive in Mexico for 20-40 more years in 1971 ? The average age for a healthy male in 1971 was around 77 years. The massive investigation Carr cites may mean something, but not what Larry thinks it does ?
  22. My bias is the same as my cousins': the money find basically requires that he survived enough to walk the money south. What happened from there is anyone's guess (no evidence). Except that money is found at Tena Bar in 1980, next to a river. There is a significant disconnect between the area where he landed and Tena Bar on the Columbia River which almost requires special facts or events, to connect the two. If the money wound up on Tena Bar with Cooper being dead further north, then something specific has to explain that. My cousin said in 1980: 'if the money is here, Cooper was here - or in the area !'
  23. People change their stories after a passage of time, because they didnt want to be involved (or get involved) at the time. It's a common syndrome. People generally avoid train wrecks or situations which could become overwhelming, and a tax on one's life. We have all been in situations and not come forward to avoid involvement at the time. Later, when people have distance, the full story comes out. So, I wouldnt automatically dismiss what Cooper is saying today. It could be the truth. In fact, I would bet others tried to avoid involvement for the same reason ... which alters the factual record. We have all been in situations like that... He further advised that he did not observe the hijacker at any time, before, during, or after this flight ?
