Recently, I joined a bowling league. Last week, I found out that there are no trophies for the top teams. Only money. Yes, money is always a good thing. But you can get that LOTS of ways. Other than having a trophy engraved for yourself, you have to earn one somehow! This discovery made me wonder, have you ever won/earned a trophy? I mean the kind that they engrave, but I know there are going to be some smart alecks out there, so I tried to cover their answers too. Come on....fess up! Tell your story! This is your chance to brag about some accomplishment, no matter how inane you might think it is. And a chance to get a virtual pat on the back that you might not have received back then. Oh, it's an awesome feature! You guys with big fingers don't have to worry about hitting the exact letter. You start pretty close to being on the letter the word starts with. Then you just start sliding your finger to the letters to spell your word. Doesn't normally matter if you're accurate. It either just figures the word out based on what letters you got near, or it gives you a choice of different words, STILL based on what letters you got near. I don't know what I ever did without it! It'll be hard to ever go back to a regular virtual keyboard again. And with it, I don't even pull the keyboard out unless I want to use an Android emoticon! I just got an Epic from Sprint. I'm only in a 3G area, but it is capable of 4G speeds. I love this phone!!! It has a virtual keyboard, but has a feature called "Swype." It also has a pullout keyboard, but I have hardly pulled it out as the swype feature is so cool. Like everyone else, I'm more into the apps than I am at actually using the phone part. I guess I don't have enough friends/family or something. You can also enable something called a "hot spot" on this phone. It is an extra charge, but can opt to not enable this feature and not have the fees. The concept is that it will power other wi-fi technology. I've only used my DS on it so far, but it worked fine. The only down side I've found so far is the battery life, but I've heard that you can buy extra batteries, though. Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? Another year since the loss of Shannon. My thoughts are with you. I know that the pain of losing her will never completely go away and I wish there was some way I could ease your burden.
