I reciently purchased a used go pro (non HD). I've got just shy of 300 jumps and am just looking to use it for the occasion fun jump, but mostly to debrief students after I take the coaches coarse this summer. Anyone have some good recommendation on attaching it as safely as possible to my Z1? It didn't come with much for mounts so I will be purchasing what seems safest. No one at my DZ has one, currently. I plan to start it and forget it (if that's truely possible), but am aware that adding any camera can create intanglements, as well as distrations and want to minimize as much as possible. I'm looking into possible manifest software for our Club. We are a small 2 C-182 Club. Currently everything is done on paper. so we're a blank slate. Almost 3 years in the sport and I'm finally at a 1:1 wingloading ;) I actually had read the original post when I did a search when I first got the canopy and before I jumped it. There isn't much information out there about the Omega (might be part of the reason you don't make them any more) but I love my Safire 2. And Chris - Thanks for leaving me in the rain!!! I have acquired the use of a Omega 149 for a second rig. I have only made 3 jumps so far with it. (stupid winter) The toggle pressure was extremely high, and I really struggled with flaring. I own a safire 2 149 and have no trouble at all. Is this normal for the omega, or does it have some other issue? Because it's a loaner, I'm not looking to re-line it, but could replacing the steering lines, or something else inexpensive like that help? I plan weddings at a country club (that I got to jump into for the 4th of July) so most of the members know I'm a skydiver. You are right that asking a bunch of skydivers about dating non-skydivers probably won't be productive. I tend to not date guys for very long and I jump at a very small dz. Dating at home does not appear to be worth the probable As the Prop Turns, Drama at the Dropzone, and Lose your Turn issues. I am breaking down and joining one of those silly dating websites. My good guy friend warned me to not mention anything about skydiving, "too intimidating" I am still in the over-excited toddler stage of this sport, so it consumes much of my spare time and brain activity.
