Dont remember the event or date, but in the late 80s/earlly 90s...there was an event where a "BUNCH" of smaller cessnas built one of the largest formation loads. Someplace in the Northwest. At the time, I was kind of amazed. Maybe still am.

Back on this subject, for the whuffo sleuths (and low_pull ) I thought some of the stuff from the World Team '06 site might be interesting. the forces are greatest at opening time due to the change in velocity, not at exit.

relax dude.... take a sleeping bag....sleep in the back or in the cab. Dont push it....what time you spend pushing it will be lost when you get there! Why not stop 1/3 or 1/2 way??? find a cheap pub, chat with the locals in some "small" town , crash and be on ur way in the morning! I cruised the country at one time like this...sleeping in a VW rabbit. one could shower at a truck stop for a couple of bucks or find a gf and sleep free at her place! "DRIVE FAST, PASS AROUND BLIND TURNS" will get u there fast... but why not enjoy the trip. tell steff we said hello at the tunnel!

,,,,, low pull, look at how McCoy did it compared to Cooper. McCoy the right way, the way someone with experience would do it, Cooper the way someone without experience would do it. And before anyone goes there, McCoy got caught because of his mouth not the act. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, The more i read the less i seem to know. Seems like a indetermanant differential equation situation.
