  1. asphaltpussy - ok, I will keep that in mind JanuszPS - maybe that`s my problem also
  2. Not disappointed, just placed some thoughts what I have seen and heard. As I sad before - maybe just bad luck. Edited to add: asphaltpussy - I was talking about previous performance variable products - re-read my post
  3. Don`t want to disappoint you guys, neither to spoil firebird business BUT... I have seen a lot of these cannopys cut away (about 10 of them). The problem is their brisk and unpredictable openings which result line twists, and cutaway. Of course - we can discuss packing technique or body position, but I don`t think that is the case, when we are talking about common cases, not occasionally ones.t This apply for both - demon and cayene. And that`s not only from my perspective (rented cayene for 8 jumps) but also from well-respected people (2000 and more jumps). Maybe its just bad luck, because we have a lot of them here, I don`t now. I hope, that this cannopy will be better then previous models. p.s. Sorry for English - not my native language
  4. The first thing to do is focusing on your jump - what you are going to do, how will you exit, what will you do in freefall, how will you hold your body position on opening, emergency procedures (its very normal for me to check my handles 5 and more times in plane, to be so familiar with them, so that when sh*t hits the fan - I could do them with closed eyes), you landing pattern, flare, packing. As you see its so many things to focus on, that you really don’t have any time to be scared :) Hope, this helps. Anyway - first 100 or 150 jumps are most, most, most fun :)
  5. http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&productId=8198552921665400969&langId=-1 It does everything for skydiving what we need - it`s slim, lightweight with titan body, AND it`s HD. As I know not a true hd, but anyway - in all reviews picture quality is superb. This could be answer for many skydivers. Yes, it`s pricey, but you get what you are paid for. At this moment here is just one tread about this camera, so looks like no one is interested. So, am I too over-excited about this cam or what ? I assume, that no one has jumped it yet ?
  6. Pz-81 rocks :) Saved my life on jump 11 (AFF). Situation - two out
  7. check this out: The research clearly shows that people are thrilled with high-definition devices and the stunning home entertainment experience they provide,” said Ron Sanders, President, Warner Home Video. “Now Total Hi Def provides the complete package with all the benefits of HD DVD and Blu-ray on a single disc. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=5659
