  1. Good article. It touches on many of the problems I also have with the modern Christian Church. But none the less, as a species we have a profound spiritual aspect to our existence. I have found that only God can fulfill that spiritual dimension and supply all that I seek on a spiritual basis. ...
  2. The last photo submissions I posted required scrolling to see the entire photo. How is this prevented?
  3. How does finding yourself in a reality other than one you might have chosen any justification for your anger and rejection? Does that mean if you don't like quantum physics you can reject science? ...
  4. Interesting, sounds like you might have been schooled in christian religion, which I also reject. And yes, the reality of the Bible is not on the page but in the individual minds of those that hear it. Each one being unique. By a persons actions you can know if the Truth of God resides in him or her. ...
  5. If that is indeed true then you owe it to the world to share your secret. But keep in mind there is nothing more difficult to see than one's own evil. ...
  6. It is imperative that we all genuinely seek the Truth in reality and allow others the freedom to do the same. Government and laws will hopefully be there to protect that right. ...
  7. It's not the inevitable physical suffering & death we need to be saved from. None of us make it out of here alive. It is salvation from spiritual depravity and despair that God is offering. ...
  8. Yes I guess that is correct, if He didn't create it directly He created the means where others could create it. What ever the source it is where we find ourselves. One thing I can attest to personally, is that He also gives us the means to escape it, and attempt to live the life He had planned for us. ...
  9. The Truth contained in the Bible is written in the minds/souls of those it has delivered from self destructive behavior (evil). The Truth has given us the ability to see the goodness of God and a means of healing the ravages caused by sin. The Bible is not a science book, it's Truth is measured by action and effect. ...
  10. Believe it or not I always enjoy your well thought out caustic responses. They are useful in identifying any dead wood I have in my faith. No matter who's opinion on reality is correct the world is one messed up screwy place. The Bible provides an explanation for that. Aside from some confusing things, the Bible has many more beneficial spiritual insights about life. You obviously know a lot about what is written in the Book. Maybe someday you can set aside your anger and re-examine the amazing Truths it contains. - Peace - ...
  11. I believe everyone is responsible for their own relationship or rejection of God. In my case I strongly desired to do the right thing not knowing what it was. At first I resisted the Christian way of life but eventually I was overtaken and consumed by the love of God. In retrospect my concepts of good and evil would have doomed me to a wasted life. Spiritual reality is a personal experience, you hear and decide what you may. ...
  12. Sorry , not even close. Don't know where to begin to respond, but I am doubtful that it is of any use anyway. If you are unaware that you have a spirit, then you will definitely be unaware of its needs. Evidence comes in many different forms. ...
  13. Irony score incalculable. Maybe, or maybe all you know is the bondage of religion and can't conceive of the abundant life Christ has to offer. I think most wars, religious or otherwise are initially about one group of people projecting their sins onto others and then executing judgment. ...
  14. Ha , religion is a man made power structure suitable for the weak of mind. I in no way participate or support it. A personal relationship with God is not religion. It's a liberation. "The thief (religion) comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I've come that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10 ...
  15. Welp, maybe so. But the one thing I do know is that the longer I live the more paradoxical and layered life actually turns out to be. If you can watch & understand the video in the OP, you might be able to see there is a lot more going on than meets the eye. ...
  16. Can't disagree with you on any of your points. Personally I have no use for religion, and I believe Christ didn't either. Basically exploration of God is an exploration of self. I choose not to believe we came from nothing and will return to nothing. The universe is to vast for such nonsense. We came from God and we will return to Him. ...
  17. That is interesting if you actually believe it. "Us folks" are very aware how we use "we". The interesting thing about evil it is difficult to spot in oneself , but the same evil is very easy to spot in others. ...
  18. By our nature we are good and evil. Science accentuates who we are, but provides no solution for the evil that we struggle with. The Truth of the Bible is that God can cleanse us and save us from ourselves. ...
  19. The voice I hear comes from reading His Word, and it never ceases to amaze me how passages I didn't even think were related will come together and teach me the most novel concepts, at the most opportune times. ...
  20. If you are pure in heart, sinless, and can let you love shine through on you own, you are indeed a rare individual. Are you accepting disciples?
  21. It is amazing, I have been living in fellowship with God for many years and His Word always keeps me healthy, happy, and on track. At times when I have went my own way, I have found myself in some real messes. His Word always restores me , provides healing along with a way back to where I should be in my life.
  22. Yep "Spooky action at a distance". Something you can't imagine cloistered away there in your little cranium. Those who know and love God have a moment by moment two-way relationship with Him. ...
