I apologize for the misconception. However, that goes with what I was saying. I wish them the best and that the reputation changes because I hear the same thing, that they are different and they welcome fun jumpers. And I will get jumps there, just that Palatka is my home. Thats all.

Reputations aside, though, like was already said, $22 caravan - 13.5 $25 c206 - 10.5 Hmm No brainer to me. But now like i said, reputation aside, i have made so many friends in Palatka that I would continue jumping down there regardless of aircraft here in jax. Dont get me wrong, if I can get a jump or two in during the week because they are open, I will. But Palatka is my home. Best of luck to Jax though. I did not know that. Thanks for the info. I knew about the pilot because he is directly licensed through the FAA but did not realize the jumper could be fined. Any idea how much this would be? just curious. Thanks "I love 'lamp'." -SKYMAMA

Even if he did go through clouds the FAA would punish the pilot that let them out over clouds, not the jumper. If I rememeber right the first offense is a 30 day suspension of his license. "I love 'lamp'." -SKYMAMA
