I am only on my second tandem jump

Hey everyone whats up? OK so heres whats going on i'm getting ready to go do my second jump the first one was just awesome and i can't wait for my second one in just a couple of week's. I have heard that the second jump some people are more nervous is this true? It seem's that your first jump would have gotten rid of the fear at least you know what it's about the second time around and wouldn't be as scary, or nervous.

Congratulations welcome to the world of skydiving wasn't it just awesome? I took my first plunge back in May and i loved it and now i want to continue to do it i was on the biggest high of my life for awhile unfortunately the skydiving season is over for me until spring here in Michigan we only go until about mid October then it start's to get to cold. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah my mom didn't smack me but she did tell me i should take my money and go see a doctor, that's when i told her about my first jump when i told her about my second jump i told her i was taking her advice to go see the doctor the tandem doctor that is She definetely think's i have lost my mind.

What the hell you only live once right, so my theory is you might as well be adventrous you only get one time to do it, hell you could walk outside your door and be in danger.

Yeah i was hooked on my first jump too isn'nt it crazy and going for my second soon iwas supposed to go last Saturday but my father inlaw passed away . It is an adrenalin rush like never before, my mom doesn't like the idea either she is scared for me but i guess someone has to be.

Yes, i do plan on taking all the courses to be certified i cant do it all at once, unfortunately it is an expensive sport, but every chance i get i will be in the sky.

Yeah i was told it is more scary the second time around because of all them reasons but i thought i would ask people who have actually done it instead of hearing from someone that hasn,t done it and only heard it through someone else.

Well im going for my 2nd tandem jump next Saturday and i cant wait ive been waiting for this for a couple of months now. This time i am doing the sunset jump so that should be awsome. So can anyone tell me if your more at ease the second time around? I was kinda scared on my first jump when i got to the door knowing that im getting ready to bail out of an airplane at 11,000 feet, but it was great i loved it.

Yeah right i dont think there no such thing as im only going to do it once. Im pretty sure you will be going again after the first experience. Let us know how it goes. Have fun.

Central Michigan was the place where i took my first jump and will continue to go here. The crew is awsome they are a fun group to be around, they make you feel comfortable and safe.

Not to mention a built in wing suit. Just kidding

I could see how this sport could corrupt a persons mind, hell i only made one jump getting ready to make my 2nd in a couple of weeks, not to mention feigning for it to get here.Its like a bad drug habit, gotta have more.

That is too funny I cant beleive you did that i dont think its something that im gonna try anytime soon.

Thats a good thing to know ill have to take some sudafed next time i was glad to know that the ear problem goes away the more you jump. Iwas hoping it wouldnt be a reoccuring thing every time i jumped. I kinda thought that maybe because it was my first time jumping but i wasnt sure. Thanks Jim.

Hello, I am new to skydiving, only have one jump under me right now, and many more to come

Its me again, I never had any problems with sinus or ear infections i dont even remember the last time ive even had one, that is before my jump im hoping that this wont be a problem every time i jump i dont want this to stop me from skydiving, at the time of my jump i didnt have an ear infection or anything like that i jusy thought earplugs may help prevent it next time.

Hello, Ive been wanting to skydive for a little while now it was just one of those things that i thought would be a really cool experience, and it was. I only have one jump and feigning for my second jump, i cant wait to go again im hooked.

I see, Ihave onother question, on my first jump i ended up with a ear infection would it help to wear ear plugs?

Hello, Iam new to the life of skydiving, I only have one jump so far, I was just wondering if it was necessary to wear a jump suit? and if so why? i know its a little colder up there, but i have seen a few jump with just there clothes.

Hello, Imade my first jump a few months ago and is was great ive been wanting to do it for awhile and finally did it was a surprise birthday present for me, so ididnt know i was going til i got there, although i didnt go alone there were 8 of us out of 8 people only 2 said they wouldnt do it again as for me im ready to make another jump, ive been saving for my second jump and only need 30$ to go im getting excited. It is a dangerous sport but what the hell you only live once right? Might nas well try something crazy. Im sure you will like it and want to jump many times after that.

Hello purplegirl, Yes the sport rocks indeed, not to mention addicting so ypu got your first jump taped, so did i with a smile all the way up and all the way down, it was great i am also going back for more i cant wait.
