  1. I went with a BH Mamba. The first one I had didn't feel right, so I sent it right back to them and they exchanged it at no additional cost. Also, you can stick it in the oven and mold it to your own head... Fitz #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  2. Sweet, thats what I was lookin for. I'm not getting one, it was just a question in general. All these websites talk about how you should have a high wingloading, I was trying to figure out what would happen to them at a low wing loading if anything. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" 3. Been reading all the posts that the Crossfire 2 is being compared to the Velocity, Extreme, and Chaos. But they also talk about all of them at a high wingloading. How would the Crossfire 2 fare at a wingloading of 1.0 - 1.05 and an INT level of exprience? Just curious... Fitz #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" 4. That is a good Idea, I should see if they will let me do that in the desert #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  5. Or you can meet in the middle. Buy a new custom container and then get used main, reserve and AAD. You will probably want to downsize after your first season. If you go this way, make sure to get a container that your first main will be snug/medium fit. So when you do downsize, it will still fit in your container. Also, once you figure what type of container/main/reserve, use the forum to do searches. Pretty much everything you could think of is archived in these forums. Welcome to the sport! 6. Personally I say a nice 200 thread count bed sheet. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  7. Thats the kind of stuff I have been working on. I just moved back to the states and found a new home DZ. So I am geting to know all the people and homing my skills on some RW work. After I do that I am going to start the freefly stuff again. Thanks again for the suggestions. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" 10. I have jumped in the UK and US. Personally I liked the US better. For some reason the places I ended up, they didn't like Americans to much. I couldn't even get them to repack their own rental rigs. They would take all the Brits first and raise their nose to me. Also, you are paying twice as much when doing it in the UK, since the exchange rate is $1.92 to the pound. In the states you could find great training for 1k pounds, if not a lot cheaper. My original training ran around $800 (500 pounds). The UK is also shaking with accepting brand new skydivers straight off of student status, from the US or even other UK DZs. Where ever you due it, try to get your USPA "A" and they will not give you that hard of a time. If you are interested in doing it in Europe, I would highly recommend Paracentrum Texel, Holland. Petra is one of the AFF instructors and she rocks. Not to mention it had the best facilities I have ever been to. They usally charge around 1.1k Euro. The student landing area is 1.5x the size of a football field and all soft grass which is great. Not to mention the parties. Just my 2 cents Fitz #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  11. Ya, I have heard that aswell #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  12. Sweet. Ankie is sending some sample colors now. I'm doing Neon Green and Black with white pin stripping. Like the pattern I attached above. It should be pretty cool. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  13. We can't do it yet! My rig isn't going to be here for a few more months heheheh. Anyone got a rig I can rent? 5'11'' and been using 190's. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  14. Well, seeming I only weight about 177 currently, 200 is about right on the exit weight, smarta$$. Not all of us can be midgets like you. Also, I was thinking the same thing with cut-in lats. As Woody likes to put it, I'm a fata$$. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  15. I have decided to buy a Wings for my first rig and I was wondering if I could get your guys input on some of the additional features. Just a little back ground, I'm 5'11'' and about 200 exit weight. Currently learning how to freefly. I'm going to put in a Sabre 2 190 with a PD Reserve 176. The options I was going to add are: Material: Cordura Articulated Harness Cut In Laterals All stainless hardware Mini Ring risers T17 22'' T17 Chest Strap RSL Thread Thru leg straps Cordura BOC Hackey / Collapsible PC Pillow Reserve Low Profile reserver handle ( Whats the diff?) Tie-dye I haven't been able to find much info on the Low Profile reserve handles, any suggestions? From what I have been able to read about mini rings, people only under 200 should use them? Since I am right at 200 should I go with the large ring T8? I am going to do the same tie-dye pattern as the attach picture but with neon-green and black colors. If anyone has any other good suggestions or comments about this set up let me know. Thanks for the help Fitz #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" 16. Cool Thanks. One more question, I have always jumped BOC that were spandex, how do the cordura feel? Do they stay tight enough over time? I know you have to replace the spandex over 300 jumps or so. Didn't know if it would be worth going to the cordura. Thanks #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" 17. I have been thinking about ordering a Wings, I do some freefly but I was thinking about getting the hacky, is that a bad idea? #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  18. Thats how I look at it. Just don't know if it is worth an additional $1000 bucks. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  19. I read all the reviews on both Icon's and G4s. With the G4s they cost more but I have heard they are more comfortable. My question is, is the price tag the only difference? Or why should I do Mirage over the Icon. Thanks #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  20. Thanks for all the ideas. Unfortunately, I will not be back in the states until mid Nov. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  21. Been interested in learning how to fly a wing suit. Can anyone give me a good website to look at or have any other good suggestions. For example, like in FF you need to learn head up before HD. What do I need to learn before I try wings? Thanks for the help. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  22. Looks like I am moving to Sumter, SC and need to find a good place to jump. Any suggestions? Fitz Don't forget to pull. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  23. I agree with Sled14, I started to sitfly around 35. I only have 52 right now and I'm starting switching from HD to Sit. Best to find a coach have them go up with you and see how comfortable you are in the air. Thats the way I did it. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" 24. Someone woke up with their cranky pants on. Anyways, we returned from our trip. It all went great. I only tried HD from a few second a couple times. And I have to admit, it was sorta fun flopping around. I was able to get steadin for a few seconds one of the times. But in the end, I had my fun. I will be looking forward to taking a coach with me. Thanks all. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
  25. Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, Target Skysports put such a bad taste in my mouth, I don't think I will jump in England anymore. They would refuse to back the gear I rented from, just on the fact I am an American. I heard the same about Sibson. But thank you for the offer. #148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress
