  1. Thanks to everyone for coming out for Dawn's birthday dinner! Man that cake was RICH! For those who didn't know, I had to keep it on the down-low till the day before it was happening. Thanks for the hospitality Melissa and Keith, you have a nice house and some cool dogs! Thanks also Melissa for the shoe store recomendation, she got (I bought) 2 pairs, a purse, and some more Burt Bee's. Ciao, Guido ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  2. Ummm... I fail to see how posing a question to ME proves YOUR intellect?? However, if you need me to help you with your homework, don't hesitate to ask. Done with work till the new year, all this free time to jump, and such icky weather!! What a pisser! ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  3. Okay, Marion has confirmed it, Darin you have lost your title as the "smart Marine". But I still love you like the illegitimate son that I never wanted. ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  4. a) my message was over 2 weeks ago, KEEP UP! b) I said I let the one typo go, you should have as well, just a little heavy on the "o's" c) this is coming from someone who CONSTANTLY says "(personal noun) and ME (verb)..." when it SHOULD be "(personal noun) and I (verb)..." d) I hope I don't LOSE the directions to the hospital or get a LOOSE tire when I come to pick you up and bring you back to my place to take care of you for a while.
  5. Hey Melissa I should be up there some time after noon today (Wed) would love to be on your 200th. Also if someone could sign me up for the TG dinner that would be great, if that's what everyone is doing. I know we were SUPPOSE to sign up by the 21st, but you all know my "schedule", there ISN'T one. Thanks! Ciao, Guido ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  6. Okay the first time I let it go as a typo, but twice... "plain"?? you are going to loose your title of the "smart Marine". In case you are still confused, it's "PLANE". Put your allowance towards a spelling class son. I should be there Wed afternoon through Thurs night, back to work Fri, then back out some time on Sat to Sun night. Ciao, Guido ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  7. Darin - I'm sure you knew this but in case not, for your log book, it's spelled Fokker. It is a "hoot" to jump out of, just wish they could close the doors up to altitude... BRRRR!!! Was nice having you, yes, you were a good guest, you are welcome any time, and you get your allowance young man. Marion - since I'm typing here, I'll give you some insight into Darin's archaic message, he recieved SEVERAL phone calls this weekend. Mostly drunk CSS'ers. Mr. popular! And since several people know, I guess I should be the first to put it in print, I hit a deer Fri night/Sat morning and had some damage done to my baby, the adjusters will be coming to look at it in the next 24/48 hrs, but it SHOULD be covered. I'm okay, just some front end damage. Interesting that it didn't deploy the air bags, but that's a GOOD thing, I hate those things any way. There were some CSS'ers at the B/G meet, was nice to see some friendly faces. Saw some old military friends from different places as well. A good time was had by all. And I would like to publically thank Dawn for helping me this weekend with my incident, (at 4 in the morning!!) for those that didn't know, she came to my rescue and babysat me this weekend, so that's where she was. I LOVE THIS WOMAN! She rocks!!!
  8. The guys from Raeford are flying the PAC-750 at B/G meet this weekend, it's not bad, nice and new...for the moment. They are putting 14 in it and I don't know if I'd want to try to put 17 in there. It has 2 benches the length of the plane that they put 5 on each, then 4 on the floor by the door in the rear. It has MINIMAL runway needed for takeoff, I didn't time it to altitude. Off to the meet. Hugs, G ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  9. Yes, congrats John on your 100th, and for staying with it after the bafoonery. You too Keith! I'll be at Black and Gold meet Fri - Sun, for all you military types, see ya'll there! Had some fun tunnel time today with some SEALS. Darin, be good there or your mom and I may have to take away your allowance. Ciao, G ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  10. Yeah sorry Darin I take full resposibility/blame for you getting "molested" on your bday. I at first told Nick he needed to strip you, but he declined, so eventually we coaxed D1 into the job. Interesting how many girls in that brief snapshot of nakedness you had got the FULL inventory of your nether region, they were going on the next day about birthmarks and such in PAIN staking DETAIL!! It is AMAZING how women can glance at someone and know how many buttons are on your shirt, how many laces on your shoe, and then remember when the last time you wore it. We need more female snipers or maybe just the spotters, might be dangerous to give them weapons. Ciao, G ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  11. Hey JOE... if you are refering to JoeBobInNC, his name is JOEL so don't feel threatened, you know you are THE ONE AND ONLY! It can be a bummer with such a common name, kind of like James, maybe you should go by VINNIE. See you guys up there in a little bit, soon as I can get someone else all cleaned up. ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  12. It was $30 and they were KIND enough to put a flyer in with the pict of how to get more, I'll bring it with me if I can make it this weekend. They make mention of another 2005 photo you can order as well as the 2004 BD photo(s). Off to the funny farm, hopefully done tonight and done for the weekend! Ciao, GF2 ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  13. Oh... and I got my TEN FOOT long BD photo of everyone, well... other than someone recovering back in the hotel room. Eric, front row; Greg, got most of your head; me and Szabi; and Nick...drinking a beer...of course. For those that didn't realize, it would have been about 4" shorter but about 4 folks ran around to the other end of the photo so they could be on it twice, kind of cool. The blurry faced guy in the middle is kind of cool too. Now waiting for the vid. Hey, speaking of vids... floaty?? Ciao, GF2 ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  14. Hey DF1, not bad with those acronyms, just a minor typo a few posts back, it should have been BMNT, not BDNT, but pretty good girl!
  15. Darin - you are NEVER "off duty", I remember those days, I don't know if you are capable of moving off post but I sure would, even if it is a drain on your wallet, it would be an ease to your mind! (btw call me about black and gold meet if you need a place to stay and such) I too am getting a new container, rig, and the whole shooting match, thanks to the WONDERFUL AND TALENTED Dawn #1, she truely is number one for a reason!!
  16. Just cause her name is D the 2nd she can't go down on me, I"m spoken for. Miss you girl! Come back! Hugs, G ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  17. Whoa, easy, turn the flames down, was MEANT to be read as: Have fun in FL and then LATER when you see the ol' lady NOT in FL. ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  18. Hey bubba, I was looking at your sig and realized WE actually jumped together finally, so does that make me a HISPA? Have fun in FL and with the ol' lady. Ciao, G ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  19. For those who didn't know and there probably were many because he has always been the quiet, gentle, type, this weekend was Ellis' last weekend. That being the reason you saw me learning Birdman, I wanted to learn from him before he left. He will be TRUELY missed. He will be back eventually, but just thought I would let those of you know, since he didn't want a big deal made of it, but this was his last weekend for a while. Happy Birthday once again to Eric! Ciao, Guido ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  20. Jason thanks for the link to the forum but I couldn't open that website link either, yes I was interviewed by Belgium TV, would LOVE to see it if anyone else downloaded it. I know some others on the BASE forum asked about that as well. It was GREAT meeting you btw! Marion cool picts! How did Eric's car get sideways?? We got HAIL down here this evening!! I'm planning to make it to Eric's dinner Sun, albeit there is a slight chance I may have to work Sun morning. So between the weather and work, we'll see if I make it up before then. ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  21. Poor Michelle, wow in a cast and everything! As for the fire, yeah, you guys seem to have fire issues, people driving into them and such! Jake, come on up! Other than LeRoy I didn't see anyone from Raeford representing at Bridge Day. Ciao, Guido ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  22. Some of us had fun in the boat as well. That is not how your jeans got ruined, using them as padding on the gravel road might have something to do with it though. That should be DF1 and GF2 now. Yeah, the big guy was Clayton. ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  23. Back from Bridge day. Everyone got at least one jump in. Eric, Szabi, and I barely had time to get a second in. There were only 3 mild injuries and one more severe, but none of us. Other than my ass, which I KNOW I will be hearing about that for a WHILE! I split my pants on my first landing, the lady on the DZ told me: "I have good news and bad news, the bad news is you split your pants, the good news is you have a nice ass!" Dawn, Szabi, and myself went rafting on Fri, THAT ROCKED!! Got video! Ordered Bridge Day video. Eric good luck with your video and hope you find your camera crew who took off on you. Had some fun Under the bridge as well. Thanks once again to all who hooked me up to be able to jump! Was great to see some other skydiving friends and meet some new ones, some who jumped and some who just enjoyed the festivites. That's about it for tonight, nighty night! Ciao, Guido ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
  24. Yes, let's remember folks, it will be an Italian/Mexican restaurant, when/if the collaboration is finalized. Yeah, had to put a request in for some REAL Italian wine, it's the least he could do. I give people grief in the same respect about Luigi's "Italian" restaurant in Fayetteville which is actually run by GREEKS! I got my first BASE in last night, hopefully will get another one or two at bridge day. Thanks to all who are "helping" me with that! Off to the bridge! Ciao, Guido
  25. Okay, I have officially gotten a reprieve from work. I'll be there Wed night! There are a couple others coming from CSS and Raeford as well. Ciao, Guido ~How do you know where the line is if you never crossed it?~ unk.
